SuperGreen Lawn Aeration Waiver
Lawn aeration is a mechanical process that improves the health of your lawn by pulling small cores of soil from the ground. The aerator penetrates the soil at depths ranging from 1 to 3 inches. While this service benefits turf health, it carries certain risks because the machine cannot detect underground objects.
Nature of the Equipment
Our aerators are heavy machines equipped with hollow tines that puncture the ground and extract cores of soil. Because these tines reach below the surface, they may strike and damage items buried in your yard.
Benefits of Aeration
Core aeration is highly beneficial for improving the health of your lawn, especially in areas with heavy clay or compacted soils. Aeration improves water absorption, root growth, and nutrient availability. When a customer adds aeration to their service plan, SuperGreen will continue to include aeration as part of their yearly program every season thereafter, unless the homeowner requests otherwise.
Homeowner Responsibility
It is the sole responsibility of the homeowner to properly mark and identify all underground items before aeration service. This includes but is not limited to:
• Utility lines
• Water lines
• Irrigation systems and sprinkler heads
• Cable and internet lines
• Underground dog fences
• Any other buried wires or equipment, including those that may cross from neighboring properties
Failure to clearly mark these systems may result in damage.
Waiver of Liability
By requesting aeration services from SuperGreen, the homeowner acknowledges and agrees:
• SuperGreen assumes no responsibility for any property damage caused by aeration.
• SuperGreen offers no warranty, no guarantee, and no refunds for damages that occur.
• If property damage occurs—whether on the homeowner’s property or a neighbor’s property—the homeowner is fully responsible for all repair or replacement costs.
Acknowledgement of Risk
By signing up for lawn aeration services, the homeowner acknowledges:
• Aeration uses mechanical equipment that removes soil plugs and can damage unmarked underground items.
• There are inherent risks associated with this service.
• The homeowner waives all claims of liability against SuperGreen for any resulting damages.
